What Are Braces Used For? 

Braces are orthodontic appliances used to correct misaligned teeth and guide them into their proper position. They can be made of various materials today such as metal, ceramic or plastic. At the completion of treatment, the person will not only have straight, beautiful teeth but a bright smile and better oral health.

There are various types of problems that braces can be used for, but each type uses a similar method of correcting and shifting teeth.
